Donny entered the insurance industry as a third generation family member in 2003. He attended Gogebic Community College and graduated from Northern Michigan University and has lived in Ontonagon his whole life. He is licensed to sell personal auto, homeowners, commercial, as well as life, health, and annuity products, and is also a licensed real estate broker. He is very comfortable with technology, so however you need your insurance, be it email, regular mail, or even a visit to your home at a time that is convenient for you, he will accommodate. Donny is involved in many different civic and volunteer organizations, President of the Ontonagon Men’s Association, member of the Ontonagon County Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the Ontonagon Volunteer Fire Department are only a few. Donny is recently married and lives in Ontonagon with his wife Helen and two dogs.
Sheri joined the Domitrovich Insurance and Real Estate team in 2008 when she was hired as a CSR and support staff for each area of the business. She earned her Insurance Agent’s License in 2013. She resides in Ontonagon with 2 of her children, Bradley and Katelyn. They keep her busy with their participation in basketball, football, figure skating, skiing and 4-H. She is also the mother of twins. Sara just began her career as a Dental Assistant and Stephanie is a Corporal in the U.S. Army. Her community involvement includes Secretary of the Ontonagon Sports Boosters, Treasurer of the Ontonagon Area Figure Skating Club, Trustee for the Ontonagon Area Youth Basketball Program and she volunteers her time with the annual BBQ Cook-Off for Life which supports the Ontonagon County Cancer Association. In her free time, Sheri enjoys cooking, baking, going to camp and spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends.
Lauren joined the Domitrovich Insurance & Real Estate team in January of 2018 as a Customer Service Representative and became a Licensed Insurance Agent in August of 2018. She married her husband Don in 2014 and they reside in Ontonagon with their two boys, Aydan and John.
In her spare time, she is a busy hockey mom and loves every minute of it. When she is not at an ice rink, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, spending time with her family and friends, gardening, fishing and enjoying all that this beautiful area has to offer.
She is also a board member for the Ontonagon Amateur Hockey Association where she serves as the Treasurer.
Donna has been a licensed insurance agent since June 2010; she joined the Domitrovich Insurance team in July of 2015. She visited Ontonagon on vacation in 2014 and fell in love with the small town. She couldn’t wait to make this her new hometown and finally made the move in May of 2015. Her partner, Bryan Hamilton, has a long family line in Ontonagon, past and present, they live in his grandfather’s cottage on Rose Island, and life on the River is tremendously peaceful. Donna loves the history of the area as well as to hear stories of days gone by in Ontonagon.
In her new home of Ontonagon, she loves four-wheeling, boating, fishing, making driftwood crafts, rock collecting, and most of all, enjoying the sunsets and the slow-paced life. Donna has immersed herself to life in the village and serves as a board member for the Ontonagon County Chamber of Commerce, she also serves on the Village Recreation Commission, Village Website Committee, and the Gitchee Gumee Garden Group.
Donna is also co-owner of 3 new businesses in the Village; River’s Edge Boat Rental, Dandelion Gifts, and is owner and Wedding Officiant at Harbor Town Weddings.
Donna is the proud Mom of 3 adult kiddos, and an even more proud Memaw to 10 amazing grandkids that she adores spoiling, in spite of parental protest. Donna was born and raised in Kentucky and loves traveling southbound a few times per year. If a customer doesn’t remember her name, just ask for the girl with the southern accent, yaw’ll.
